- Firstly, customers requiring stainless‑steel distribution boxes contact the manufacturer and provide required dimensions, thickness, internal layout and other specifications. The manufacturer then carries out design according to customer requirements.
- Blanking: Cut stainless‑steel plates by laser cutting machine to obtain designed dimensions. Most components of the stainless‑steel distribution box are processed in this step.
- Stamping: Punch holes on positions of the box body where openings are needed, such as mounting positions for handles.
- Bending: Bend the cut flat plates with bending machine to form the camber of the box enclosure.
- Welding: Weld the pre‑bent plates.
- Cleaning & Screen Printing: Clean the box body and perform screen printing to print patterns as required by customers.
- Packing and delivery.
The above is the general production flow for stainless‑steel distribution boxes. Commonly used plate thickness for stainless‑steel distribution boxes, power cabinets and meter boxes are 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm and 1.0 mm.
